Open Rate |
In CRM, open rate is a metric that measures the percentage of recipients who opened an email or message that was sent through the CRM system. |
Open rate is an important metric in CRM because it can indicate how effective an organization's email marketing efforts are at engaging its customers or prospects. A high open rate may indicate that the subject line, content or design of the email is resonating with the target audience, while a low open rate may indicate that the message is not effectively reaching its intended recipients. By tracking open rate over time, organizations can identify trends and make adjustments to their email marketing strategies as needed to improve their open rate. |
How to Calculate: |
It is calculated by dividing the Total Recipients who Opened (TO) the email or message by the Total Recipients (TR) who received it. |
For example, if an organization sends an email to 100 recipients and 20 of them open the email, the open rate would be 20%. |
